Maintenance supervisor

Immediate supervisor: factory manager

MAIN FUNCTIONS

  • Plan, supervise and supervise the staff at their expense.
  • Develop and implement preventive equipment maintenance schedules and programs when required.
  • Collaborate on improving workplace safety, identifying accident hazards, determining corrective measures, and implementing them in their work.
  • To encourage the participation of staff under its supervision and to maintain a working atmosphere conducive to the attainment of the objectives of service and Division through sound communication, delegation, teamwork and recognition of good Results.Identify, develop, manage and implement improvement solutions on equipments for the optimization of different production processes.
  • Management of priorities and planning of maintenance work.
  • Maintain and update spare parts inventories for risk or frequently replaced components.
  • Respond and manage one-off maintenance requests from the factory.
  • Investigate causes of failures or unforeseen maintenance problems.
  • Take over or participate in the realization of engineering change.
  • Coordination of subcontractors when required.Recommend and implement the necessary modifications to the equipment in order to increase their efficiency.
  • Participate in the realization of corrective or preventive maintenance work on the production equipment and on the building participate in the realization and approval of the equipment validations.
  • Involvement with the engineering team at the level of research and product development, production design and equipment.
  • Perform any other tasks requested by their immediate supervisor.

DESCRITION OF SKILLS

  • Academic: BAC in mechanical engineering or combination of training and/or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum experience: minimum 5 years experience in supervision (management) or equivalent.
  • Special skills: good knowledge of MS-Office Tools (Word, Excel, access). Knowledge of maintenance management systems. Knowledge of automated mechanical systems. Knowledge of the concept of TPM. Functional English.
  • Aptitudes: leadership mobilizer. autonomous. Organized and responsible. Good Communicator with interpersonal skills. Action oriented. Sense of urgency and priorities.
