Cost Analysis

Position summary:

The cost analyst will work at the administrative office in Waterville. It will have as main responsibilities all the activities surrounding the cost price, the valuation of inventory and the preparation of numerous reports and performance measures.

Main responsibilities:
Preparation of various financial analyses on request
Participate in the analysis of the management financial statements and monthly variances.
Valuation of inventories at the end of the month and complete the associated analyses
Maintaining standard costs
Followed by provisions for inventory obsolescence
Analyze variances on purchases and sales
Keep up to date the various analyses and performance indicators
Set up accounting and operational processes
Apply and improve internal controls
Be present at the end of year inventory count
Provide information to Auditors
Refresh and analyze Excel and PowerBI reports
Any other related stains

Requirements:
BAC in accounting
Interest in management accounting
2-3 years of experience in a similar position
Bilingualism French/English (spoken and written)
Excellent knowledge of Excel (essential)
Knowledge of the concept of standard costs
Knowledge and skills:
Office suite (Excel, Outlook, power BI, Word)
Ability to work as a team
Ability to work well in a multi-site environment
Good sense of organization and priorities
Knowledge of J.D. Edwards ERP system
Databases
Respect for deadlines

Skills sought

Academic: BAC in administration holder of a CPA title, or equivalent experience

Minimal experience: experience in manufacturing accounting, ease of working with integrated management software an asset (JD Edwards)

Aptitudes: shows autonomy, rigor and resourcefulness. Responsible and available person manages his time efficiently and properly managing stress. Good collaboration for teamwork
